buildanother I Live Here B Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 11,543 chicagoland,usa	Last 8 bolt crank flange I messed with was a stroker 440 crank and it had 1/2 inch bolts IIRC, so I torqued to hemi flange specs. Torque converter will depend on 5/16 or 7/16 sizes.

John_Kunkel Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 25,785 Rio Linda, CA	For the 8-bolt flange the FSM recommends 70 ft. lbs. on the crank bolts and 65 ft. lbs. on the converter bolts but I don't think there's enough thread engagement for 65 ft. lbs. on the converter bolts, I would tighten them by feel with red Loctite.
