hi all -

i have the original system in my car (single pot master cylinder, 4 way drum) and want to upgrade to a dual master cylinder

Questions:

- are the 67 MC's available still today from a parts store? - does anyone have a part number?

- is there a kit for the brake lines that would be necessary just to do the MC upgrade (assuming here that most of the brake lines can stay put)?

- if i am doing this, should i change out all the brake lines? - if yes, is there a stock style i should go for or will it not matter once it is no longer original and just get stainless steel?

- any other tips/tricks?

thanks

This is a very easy conversion. I used a 1967 Master cylinder, a 1967 proportioning valve and Lines for a 1967 B-Body. The master is available at any auto parts store. The brake lines are also available from Fine Lines or Right stuff. ready to go. You can also see if Fine line or Right stuff has the correct proportioning valve. Everything bolts in with no issue. Good luck PM me if you need any other questions answered,
