Does anyone make a stock style 1/2 inch oil pickup so that you don't really need to worry about pickup to pan clearance?
Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat Hear my motor screamin while I'm tearin up the street

B/RB With a '71 Hemi style repop pan. Would this also be the same for a 402 style pan?

Mp sells the stock 1/2" pickup still for the 70 up 6qt pan , it's a straight tube so it will not fit a 402 pan , I don't think anyone makes one , it would be aftermarket , to fit a 402 pan. MP also sells one for the 66-69 hemi pan , I have to buy one , but I don't know if it's a straight tube or a bent tube.
If you haven't done it yet you don't need a 1/2" pickup in a B/RB unless it's something spinning 10,000 rpm or something like that. I made that mistake already , luckily I had a spare moroso 1/2" pickup tube I was able to cut up and adapt to a stock 402 pickup.

Yeah, unfortunately I already did it, and then kind of regretted it also, because I don't need it either.
Are the 70 pans the same as the 71 and up pans? The pan I bought is PN P5007807AB, which I believe is what everyone always calls a '71 pan, but I really have no idea.
If so, I assume pick up PN P5007848 must be the one I'm looking for?
