thats awesome. if you wanted, could that block be modified for oiling through the heads to use LA heads? amazingly nice block, but i do like LA heads and shaft mounted rockers.

rocker oiling.... it would be a long way to drill.. maybe buy a very good shop ..but out side oil lines would work fine

Sure is a lot of core shift of misplaced lugs for the lifter side extra head studs. The outside edge lines up great. The inside if pretty far off.
That rear seal is the rear main and is way superior to the stock style. The 360 rear pan seal is better to. smaller lighter cap.
Career best 8.02 @ 169 at 3050# and 10" tires small block power.

I heard the cam tunnels were a problem too.I was just going to buy one for my new build until i heard there was still lots of problems that haven't been corrected.
3120lb, small block, 10.5" tire, NA, through exhaust, full int, WITH 83/4 REAR, 9.0 at 150mph

I had several of those spacers to put 340 pans on 360 caps. Nothing specail. It is cast aluminum and you silicone it into the groove in the cap where the seal usually would go. Very easy to make with 3/8 aluminum plate.

That is cast to accomodate p7 studs. It's not shifted when drilled for them..(so I have been told)
