VITC_GTX OP master V Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 4,929 Tri-Cities, Washington	I need a radiator for my '71 SSP with auto and a/c. I want something that I can just bolt right in so I was hoping for a stock replacement. Can't seem to find any listed. Any ideas where to look?

pinkduster master Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 6,653 Near Reading PA USA	I got a Wizard aluminum radiator for my 71 Road Runner. It was a direct bolt in and the stock shroud worked too. The only thing I had to get for it was reduction fittings for the transmission cooling lines. It was $500 but it does a great job keeping the car cool. I'm not crazy about the look of the top tank, but my car isn't stock so I guess it's okay. I don't think you will find a good direct fit radiator for $300.

Definately doesnt look stock, but dropped right in, all stock stuff hooked up with no issues, and cools fantastic. Four core Champion aluminum 26 inch bolted right in and the shroud bolted right up for $280. Do the tanks look stock? No, but for the price you can't beat it. If you painted it black most people wouldn't know the difference. Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

It does seem to cool alright but the fittings for the tranny cooler lines where buggered up when I got it. The flared fittings where flat on one side of both of the fittings. I should have sent it back but I tried to fix it myself and it still leaks terribly.
