I'm really suprised that your local tech guys let you run that car with no headrests, that rules has been in the rule books longer than I can remember I hear you on the neck pain, I had the same thing happen in my Stocker after putting in a 8 inch race converter, went from 1.65 60 ft. times to 1.49 60 ft. times I finally started stiffening up my neck, back and pushing myself back into the seat before hitting in first gear after the fourth run
