With a budget being an issue, stock 426 hemi heads ready to go or for $500 more get some new Mopar Performance heads. Either way I have to buy them. Are the new ones better being the stock ones are known to crack in the plug to valve area. Thanks

My last two builds I just bought new Stage V replacement heads, you're money ahead with new heads and the Stage V is a great quality casting that looks original as well. Sheldon

Stage V will sell you, or they use to, a set of heads ready to bolt on as long as you tell them which type of cam and the lift your going to run Thier heads are GREAT Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964.
