Congrats to them... did they have any of the DD in
that issue... I thought it said next month was DD
but I was just standing in the drug store waiting
for a scrip when I was reading it

Yes, the entire coverage in the latest issue was "DD" cars. GREAT coverage if you ask me for the little guy. The Unlimited cars are cool, (Larsen's Nova is awesome) but the little guys ARE what DW is about, IMHO.

That's HAS to be a riot of a week!

Hey Freiburger, if you're listening: How about a West Coast Version? Firebird, Vegas, Famoso, Sacramento, and ending in Seattle.

Well I must have missed the DD section... I'll have
to go back and actually BUY that issue...... NO I
dont want it out here.. way to far to haul.. put it
back somewhere in the MID US... sure I would love
to have it start somewhere east of the Mississippi...
its bend in the Tulsa area for the last 2 years...
plus I dont think you will ever see it start on either
coast... you might in up hitting one of the coast
states but it would cut out most of the guys from
the mid east...... JMO

Mike, the class cars and the DD coverage are in different mags. The DD issue has a hot rod driving on the beach on the front.

I actually meant run TWO different DW's. One out here for us "displaced" guys. Heck, I'm excited to try and make the Car Craft Anti-tour this year!

Hey Doug,I was thinking the same thing,a west coast DW version, see if maybe Car Craft could do something,as DW is definitely on my bucket list now.I've gone on the last 4 Anti Tours,so I know a couple of the guys from CC,I intend to contact one of them,or maybe talk to them on this years Tour,no announcement yet on where to this year by the way,its pretty fun, make it you can.

Hey Mr. P Body,,the Anti Tour is held once a year, not nearly as large as DW,each year CC picks a different place to drive to,in the past they have gone to a PSCA event in Vegas,Hot August Nights in Reno,a couple different car shows, last 2 years being shows at Morro Bay.We met at CC offices in SoCal my first 2 times,2011 met at Turbonetics for tour of the facility, then left, this year, met at Wilwood Engineering, then left for Morro Bay,about 45 cars the last 2 years,no racing on these, who knows where it will go this year, some have mentioned or requested some sort racing,so we'll see.
You can go to their site, type Anti Tour in the search, you can check out all of them, theres a couple pics of my '66 Barracuda in the Oct. 2009,and my '70 'Cuda in the Sept. 2011 issue..I'm the guy that got ribbed on the Anti Tour shirts I had made.
