Found this video while looking for a fiberglass bumper for my demon and couldn't believe what they were saying it weighed! I could be missing something though...

How much weight could they have possibly lost while back-halfing? I thought these cars weighed at least 3100 or more?

my demon weighs 2938 w/o me. back halfed, altercation frt end. 9" narrowed, 33x18.5 et streets, full carpet, 2 padded seat, cage- 8.50cert, 12 gal cell. glass hood. ritter 440 sb, w9"s. their demon has no glass, looks like aluminum interior & who knows what else. digital scales don't lie. those are the same kind i weighed mine with.with out me in thwe car. LF-846, RF-741, LR-596, RR-756.

Ya 800 #s seemed way heavy to me too lol! I would say it would be more like 450-500... maybe it might be closer to that if they were counting the tranny too

I hope you guys are not expecting a lot from some magazine scribes, that is asking a lot That ain't no Cheverolet, they don't speak Mopar That Demon is way light to start with, in my opinion

I have the original paper work from my 71 Demon.
It was a slant six, no ac or power brakes or steering.
It weighed 2950 when new.
That car is a gutted race car.

A Slant with the stock iron manifolds weighs very close to the same as a small block. 450ish if I remember correctly.
