I just swapped out my all cast iron 340 for an all aluminum 528 hemi and was wondering what the weight difference is. I know the hemi is lighter but any idea how much?

I was thinking the same thing maybe the Hemi is still a little heavier. Hemi cranks are heavy parts!

It has stage V heads and a aluminum mopar performance 2x4 intake. I have both motors on engine stands and the hemi feels lighter when moving the stands around.

Try swapping the motors onto the other ones engine stand and see if one of the stands rolls easier than the other one
