I have a half-baked plan to bring my car down from Colorado and run the National and Divisional events at Firebird. To get the car dialed in I plan to do some test-n-tune at Speedworld on Feb. 9 and Feb 16. I spoke to a guy at Speedworld who said it probably wouldn't be a problem for me to stay there with my motorhome for a week or so. If that deal falls thru, do any of you local AZ racers know of any RV parks that would not be too expensive? Any help is appreciated--thanks.

There is an RV park north of Wickenburg called North Ranch that is pretty nice and not too far from Speedworld.

But Quartzsite is about 100 miles away. Lots of snowbird swapmeets though.

I just pulled it from my log book. I just right down what the GPS tells me when we arrive.

1265 - officially ( www.airdensityonline.com ) - and that would be on a damn good day - or if you parked in a pothole . I have actually never seen it that good.
