If it were mine I would keep the Xcellerator on it.

We run one on my old Duster with a 360, then 408, and ported X heads and now ported Edelbrocks.

There are better intakes but that Weiand is better then a Air gap IMO.

IMO no, my Dart ran mid 7.20s with an X-Celerator on a pump gas 340. A very good and often overlooked intake.

I think with your cubes and the RPM that you turn
you would be past the useful range of the air gap
but it would make more torque

airgap hands down . the single plane should never be an option for your set up..

i love the excellerator on a setup like yours. Its an excellent manifold that is extremely underrated.
No way i would swap it out. Great manifold for up to 7,000 rpm and has great all around performance.

X cellerator is an awesome and often overshadowed ( by the SD, Vic 340 and even the M1) intake.

On an all-motor combo I would lean toward an airgap but on the spray a single plane is almost always the best route in terms of WOT cylinder to cylinder distribution,

Get one and try it out. IMO AirGap would be faster. Your 60' times are lazy for the MPH you run. I think the added low/mid range TQ would really help the short times. If it don't work to your liking, turn around and sell it. No shortage of guys looking for that intake.

At the level your at,its pretty much a toss up.
A lot of guys think a dual plane makes more torque but in reality a properly sized single plane will run as good or better.
