mrmopardan OP member Joined: May 2005 Posts: 128 usa	My 440 6 pack motor was idling erratic. Increasing between 1500 - 1000 rpms while in neutral. The RPMs dropped even further when I dropped the 727 in gear. Occassional Off idle backfiring was taking place too. Last night I found the rear carb throttle plate was not seated completly causing a vaccum leak. I adjusted the linkage and the eng. now seems to run fine. Haven't had the chance to test further but would like your opinions. Would this this rear carb not fully seating cause these problems. Thanks 68 GTX Full street trim, solid lifter cammed. Best 11.34 @ 121 mph. 1.72 60 ft. (yeah I know.. my 60 ft. sucks)
