Jets, power valves, secondary springs, acc shots, timing changes.....What else??? Don't get me wrong...I'm not "ditching" it pursay....I just think there's a fair bit more on the table with some new tech. I've read all Hughes tests on the CH6 intakes and they obviuosly weren't slouches by any means...even though they're 40 year old technology. I've got this ride running 1.45-1.46 60 foots and 6.90's in the 1/8th....like they say there's always room for improvement....Right?? Heck... I've even got an old TM7 Tarantula I could try out....

The 950 is a good carb and the new Holley aluminum carbs are great. They have so many new features that they make the older carbs obsolete.
If you have the room you might consider running the Super Victor rather than the Victor. Another good manifold would be the Mopar Performance M1 4500 intake. I'd use either of those intakes before running the Victor on a 500 inch engine.
Why not the Victor Andy??

Thanks for the info Andy. And Todd......Hopefully in early spring to head south. Places like Summit and the like seem to always show up!!! Roadtrips can be fun even WITH the wife.... LOL I haven't worked for a year now, and money isn't that thick to spread around, that's why I was asking about using the Victor....I just happen to have one laying here. One good thing anyways...I could slap this Victor on and give it a go... then save up some money for an M1. I got the heads off and apart right now...hopefully all they need is springs and a face cut. Of course...Santa possibly could Ha Ha!!
