I was alerted to this post by John Antonelli, the guy with the killer yellow oegold daytona that was at the nats in august. Been a while since a mopar part blew up my skirt as I have been in search of ac cobra stuff. I'm not going to find any cobra parts cars anytime soon!
Actually there is a cobra part that is probably in many junk yards and possibly on some parts cars owned by guys on this board. It's an over the counter nothing special GATES GREEN STRIPE 5/8 HEATER HOSE. On 31xx 427 cobras it was used from the oil fill cap to the rear air cleaner. maybe 2ft long. can you believe I have found EVERY part needed to restore a big block cobra to my ridiculous unusable standards and I CANT find that damn hose. From top to carpet to mufflers to tires I have found it all and I cant find a hose that every gas staion in north america used in the 1960s. I'd post a pic but I still do not know how.

Anyway, enough babbling. You did good terry. I'll let ed meyer know as he too is in the junk yards as all the dealerships have been wiped out. wonder how that happened????

The familiarity comes from the Prohibition era when I made runs into NY while working for Nucky Thompson.
