Has .150 N/seats in it,used my fuel-bowls and lines on both. I think its more the fuel curve than avaiable flow

Found shavings inside too............

I`m not a fan of frankenstein carbs myself and always had better luck w/a matched unit and tune from there..............good luck either way.

Power-valve is boost referenced,also tried with and without power-valve+8jets.
I`ve run from 84`s to 99`s still AFR of 13.0

If that's a ProComp-based copy, it could be either the metering blocks or the main body having restrictions in the fuel passages.

Try Holley metering blocks w/ the current main body to see if that cures the problem.

If the metering block swap doesn't fix it, it could be something like the downleg boosters haven't been sized properly to flow enough fuel for your use.

My (and I know it's easy to spend other people's $$$), is to sh!t-can the Horrey calb and put a proven unit on it, rather than expend any time & $ trying to band-aid the offshore parts.
