I posted this in the truck section, an area I normally don't visit, but I wanted to see if anyone else has this problem
My 2011 Power Wagon had a bad vibration in the front end. Took it the dealer since it was still under waranty. Worn stearing linkage and uper an lower ball joints needed to be replaced. I have never seen ball joints go bad on a normaly driven truck at 35,000 miles. Are you kidding me? Hey, I spend all my time working on old Mopar cars, first time I'm chiming in on the part of the site. Is this a common problem? BTW, I talked to the mechanic there and he says he seen lots of them. I can't imagine wanting another Dodge next time.

I know, it's nut's.
It's one of the reasons I drive chevy trucks, they are much tougher.

I guess I,ll get it started. Got me a new one ton 454 chebbie once. First & last for me, 3 engines in 90,000 mi. I think they got The cam oiling fixed on the 454's, but too late for me. Went back to dodge. Last two trucks 200,000 & 150,000. No front end pieces replaced & I use my trucks pretty hard. 3/4 ton cummins 4x4's. I run 245-80 tires, Nuthin big.
Just sayin Mark
When I was trading in my 93 chevy 3500 454 in 99 with 135K miles on it, the salesman was telling me the new truck had 100000 mile dexcol anti freeze in it. I looked at the salesman and said, "the one you just bought back from me has the original green anti freeze in it still at 135K miles, big whoop!".
That truck did not have one problem ever that I remember and rode like a couch being 4 wheels and a 3500. Then the 99 I still have has 100K now and it's all original except for tires and brakes. Even the exhaust system is original and no rust yet on the body and we have salty roads around here during the winter. I can't complain other than my truck has 4:56 gears and gets about 6 miles to the gallon. Luckly I only live 1.2 miles from work, some days I drive less than 3 miles. Somedays like today I drove it over 150 miles.
