I'm looking to put a dual four barrel setup on my 65 Chrysler 300.
There are 4 different intakes to go with that were put on 413s & I'm
looking for input from past experience &/or knowledge of what what work best. If has no A/C. Intake, Carbs, exhaust? I want a setup that
looks relatively stack.

There is the edelbrock ch28 intake which works pretty well. But if your 413 is basically stock you could always go with one of the stock 413 dual quad intakes. They pop up from time to time and I think they work pretty well for a stock application.

The edelbrock will likely out perform the stock one by a mile.I never liked the factory dual quad intakes but stock is stock......

Not sure if the newer carbs will bolt to the old OEM dual quads. I know the AFB changed bolt patterns at some point, not sure when though.

We used to drill the second bolt pattern in the base of AFBs. If I remember right there was plenty of space for both patterns.

The new pattern, but not the old IIRC. Like I said the pattern on the AFB changed at some point back in the early (?) sixties as did the airhorn diameter but I dunno if they both changed at the same time.

I get the smaller 4131's frequently at the swap meets. $5-$30. 4 1/8" tops.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Would I need to change out the fuel pump? Do the repro air cleaners fit the edelbrock carbs?

There are two different bases, the 62 early 63 used the 3447 AFB with small air horn, the mid 63 and 64 used the 3705 which has the same size air horn as the Edelbrock.

Any recommendations for suppliers that are Moparts sponsors?
I think there are conversion packages available.

Hmm, my 64 413 single quad (might be the difference here) had the small bolt pattern and the small air horn diameter. Some one mentioned drilling the Ebrock for the old pattern and that jogged a memory cell. Did that too, back in 88, but had to spring for a new filter housing.

the small air inlets were standard on all chrysler afb's, with exception of '64 s/s, until '68 model year.
