This. I've had after market mini's this wouldn't work in the last two stick cars I did. I go to the parts store and order for a 98 ram 360. 98 works best, tried another year once and it had some plug in connection instead of terminals for the wires. My old harness wouldn't know what to do with fancy plugs lol

Some wont fit with the long studs on some blocks. They will touch.Mine had them.Put a nut on the stud trimmed it down a bit and installed. Most come with the new plastic connector. It needs removed to use on all Ive done. Some blocks have thick metal and might need a bit of grinding fro them to fit.Ive never seen it but a few have. The 440 Source starter just dropped in my kids 413.Rocky

mine ran into the block, there is the extra metal there, and ended up just taking the grinder to the start instead. Didn't take much, just a kiss here and there.
