I can't find anything on the web about any issues with 2008 Sebrings and their trunk lids. My parents and my sister both have 2008's with the exact same problem with the trunklid.

Basically, if you look at the trunk lid gaps they taper and get smaller starting from the rear window and going to the back of the car. The end result is a similar issue that the early 2006 and I think 2007 Chargers had where, when the trunk lid comes down, the lid edges hit the quarter/bumper and scuff/chip each other. End result was a kit w/ stiffer trunk weather seals & bump stops to keep the lid from over closing.

Anyone else seen or heard of this problem with the new Sebrings? My father was really when I pointed it out all the chiped edges on the lid and by the tail lights on the quarter panel to him this evening. I think he's going to start someone's week off bad next Monday at the dealership, was hoping I could lessen his anger by showing him there was a service bulletin out on it.
