I bought a Victor Reinz rope rear main seal that came with a tube of RTV to fill in the side seals, ARGH. I want the old style cardboard side seals, anyone know where I can get them?

Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat

That's funny. I just bought the same thing not long ago and it had the cardboard sides in it.

Good luck finding a rear main seal, with the
fiber side strips, I haven't been able to
get 1 with them in there in a few years,
IMHO that's the worst mistake the company's
making these seals have done in the past.

Google best gasket. I think that is the name, they make rope seals and the original style side seals.

You can get a silicone side seal shaped like the cardboard ones from 440 Source. I've used them with great success. Mancini Racing has seal packages with the side seals also.
