There is a company in Florida called AAR Fiberglass. I have bought a few Items from them before and I think the parts were excellent. A bit pricey though. A flat hood for a 65 Dodge is $520 + shipping. Goog Luck.
thanks for the info.

AAR shipped me a 65 hood by mistake for my 64. They exchanged it. It looked every bit as good as this one. Very little work needed. Doug
i had a tall scoop like yours,a bolt on on a steel hood and it tried to take flight at 132mph,so i'm hoping to get a glass hood w scoop bonded on.i will checkout glasstech also, thanks guys.

Jakes Max Wedge scoop is a bolt on, similar size. He's regularly over 145mph, touched 151mph. The Scoop is homemade with a Flange, 9 bolts. Doug

520 for a FLAT HOOD ! .... a-bit PRICEY is an uNderstatement !! I know that FG materials have gone-up in price ... but maybe 30$ per hood or so since I made that piece.
I sold that hood for 210$ ...IIRC.

To my understanding AAR sold out to another company... they still make the parts but under a different name... I bought my Rampage hood from them and was going to pick it up to take home but it was cheaper and safer to have it shipped... its pretty decent... and its the LAST one out there

I have a lightweight Fibreglas Trends race hood with a SS/AH stock type scoop molded on, it was trying to flyoff at 124 MPH It starts bulging upwardss around 121 or so MPH and gets worst the faster I go I really worrry now that it runs 134+ MPH in the 1/4 I don't have the four bolts across the front like the stockers came with, I used two do to running a six pak on the motor My message is a molded on hood scoop can cause issues also
i ordered the aar bolt on hood, and their bolt on 65 hemi scoop.my original hood scoop had a temp fix that got ignored and going from 124 mph to 132 was enough to rear its ugly head.lucky i had put a stud tupe support in the center of the opening so it just looked like wing for little bit,as it came loose along driver side.

Damn Mike .. is has almost been 25 years since selling to Mopar Performance ! .. and the reason why I stopped selling to them ...is the same reason why Jack Mc was not a happy-seller to them either ...aka Accounts Payable.
I am getting back into-it ...but on a much smaller scale ...even though I was never the BIG FISH in the pond(as far as production capabilities) to start-off with.

Yeah Doc, I know all to well about accounts payable... if every T wasnt crossed or I wasnt dotted... kicked back and another 60 days MINIMUM before it went out again... my wife dealt with the computer security for them and I was one of the users of the system for my department

A ...and a at that !! .... net 30th PROX !!
The folks AT the MP operation were great .... and they were OVERselling the scoops that I was making. They had a Chrysler truck at my shop almost weekly.
But APable wasa typical slow-pay and it was costing me money BIG TIME.
