I bought a set of NOS rocker panel mouldings for my 70 Roadrunner they are aluminum anodized. One has a few small dents the other is creased from being bent and is probably not for me to try and fix. Would like to get some advice on how to get the few small dents out . Also I dont want to mess up the original anodizing on the outside of it by hamering on it. Any one with experience with this stuff? I need some ideas on how to do this.
Thanks!
Dave

honestly -

i would sent them to a plating/chrome shop that handles anodized aluminum.

I tried to mess with Corvette rocker molding once and made a huge mess of them.
I sent them out to a guy in FL and he had them fixed up/re anodized and they looked perfect.
Ran me around $300 to get done - but worth it... IMHO

Got me a NEW Project
1970 GTX 440+6, 4 spd, 4.10 Dana and N96 FE5 (top/bottom) and black bucket interior.
Original transmission and Dana - Engine is a service replacement block.

Body has all stamped #s + VIN/TRIM tag and door sticker. Been hunting like all hell to find the Build Sheet.

garage find, only had 41,850 miles on ODO.
