They're for you to grind in a lot of block clearance.
Yep. Got them from a fellow Slant racer who had Barton make them 15 years ago. He's since decided to go a different direction.
Hemi big end w/Chevy journal size. 6.699" long, stock 225 length. I have a set of +.100" over Ross nitrous pistons set for stock length rods.
This could be a lot of fun.
At $50 for the set I couldn't pass them up, even if they only hang on the wall.
!!!!!!!!! 50 bucks !!!!!!!!!!

They came from Will Burns in Virginia. He's got a really slick tube chassis '67 notchback that he has a turbo motor in now. When he gets it all dialed in he may be in the mid 9's with it. He knew he was never gonna do anything with them and I happen to have a setup for the 6.7" rod length so the final piece of my puzzle is here. I am going to take them to a place down in Grant Park that builds custom rods and see if we can reduce the size of them a little so they will go into the block through the top, and maybe eliminate some block grinding. I am on vacation this week and was making some progress on the Daytona, but now I seem to be coming down with the flu.
