Which logger should I buy?Racepak, innovate or who. There are quite a few offered and I'm on data overload looking at the different ones. What do you guys use and what do you suggest?? I'm thinking o/2's,egt's,rpm,driveshaft,boost,intake air temp, oil temp and water temp. 545 blown Hemi with carbs and I want to safley turn the wick up all the way

Both that you mention are good units with the Racepac rated higher.... BUT you need to see how fast these units take readings... usually if you want more channels it slows down on how many readings EDIT also check to see which sensors come with it and cost of other sensors you MIGHT want later... that is the PRICEY part of data logging

Don't cheap out on the sensors. You will need/use them all. I have 21 sensors but wish I also had tire temp and track temp. It is much easier to look at a run with all the info in 1 place.

This is what I have too. It works well for me. Quality piece, good service fair price. Data loggers usually dont answer all your questions, some times they create more questions.

When I was working we would have to set up cars with 400 to 800 channels(inputs)so we would stack 200 channel recorders.... MAJOR bucks for these units but like I said before... check sensor prices and what comes with the unit.... I use a 18 channel recorder called a Informer(no longer made) but I can read out right on the unit(has a screen) or down load to a puter... fortunately I have a bunch of sensors that match up with this unit... it uses K wire temp probes which I have a pile of and I have a few pressure transducers and a vac/pressure transducers..so I saved alot of money

RacePak is only way to go.
Price may be higher, but quality / use ability is second to none.
More importantly, most racers are using it. It sure helps in pits if you have a problem or need assistance. Not hard to find someone to help.
I've had good luck / customer service from Joel @ Hyperacktive
He can remote login into my laptop to fix what I've screwed up.

Look at these too. http://www.computech.com/
Thanks Darrin, they weren't on my radar That's another real good looking system. If I hafta spend $600 for just an o/2 sensor setup,I'd rather spend $2000 for a cmplete system. Darrin, how long are you using their product???
