What is the beat source for new convertible tops For a 65 Plymouth Who makes the most accurate and best quality tops, I've had luck with Legendary tops in the past, is there a better source. Thanks.

my research indicated Robbins generally considered among the best (with corresponding cost)

ended up buying Kee Auto Top through YrOne, very happy with it (as was my installer)

FWIW I too have a Kee Top on my Challenger, overall it's ok, the rear window panel developed a wrinkle in the vinyl panel below the window, I know of four other tops locally that have the same wrinkle... Kee isn't willing to help in any way, they offer a one year warranty against defects which covers the top it self but not the labor which is the majority of the cost... My top was out of warranty before it was installed...

BTW this wrinkle occurs between two panels that are bonded together so once the outer panel moves in relation to the inner panel a wrinkle develops, it is a defect

Robbins offers a lifetime warranty on defects & they do cover parts & labor.... I know the local authorized Robbins dealer & he tells me he's had three tops in the past 25 years that were defective & had no problem getting them covered....

Just a little more detail, I agree the cost savings is attractive & the Robbins has to be purchased through a Robbins authorized installer... But if things go wrong there is value in the higher cost product...

Here at my trim shop, we use only Electron Tops. They're made right here in the good ole' US of A. I've installed hundreds of them over the years, and have tried em all. Electron has always been the best fit, at the most reasonable cost. I'm not saying the others aren't any good, I'm just saying that Electron is the brand we choose to use. 69440

Have an Electron Top on my '71 Cuda convertible and loving it. Ironically they are less than a mile from where I grew up
