I got dock a point for my pcv valve and grommet being painted at the muscle car and corvette Nations. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be or not so I didn't argue the point. This is on a 70 super bee 383. Thanks

thats just ridiculous! How does a show that size have non make specific judges? Cant imagine what he was thinking while looking at the painted grommet and valve.

While it may be original it's not the one normally used on a big block...

maybe that's all they had on the line that day for the car? bought very early on in the 70's by the current owner - loaded 440 cuda - forget if 2 or 3 tags - still has it in his garage - was showing the painted grommet/pcv for the op
