i believe the trucks are completly different from cars. this truck has been with the same family for 40 years +- repowered with 327 gm/powerglide missing very few things very little rust i do plan on selling. i have four other projects going trying to stay on task with those-norman

There should be a VIN tag on the driver’s side of the firewall. The frame number will be located on the outside of the driver’s side frame rail forward of the front axle. They’re stamped kind of light so it might take some scraping and cleaning to see it. As I recall it should be 7 digits.

If you got a title with the truck and the VIN on the title doesn’t match the frame number there is a good chance the truck was titled using the engine number.

By the way looks like a good start on a project. I need to get motivated on my 37 Dodge truck project again…..

That sure looks like a '36 grille to me. Are you sure this truck is a '37?

That is defiantly a 36 you can tell from the grill and look at the windshield the 36 is flater across the top and the 37 has a slight bow to it.
look at the 37 plymouth above and notice the bow to the top of the frame

Maybe its inside the cab behind the seat. Here is a nice write up of our trucks.
