Anyone have any pics of a f1r on the drivers side? I'm wondering if I can run my engine plate with that set-up and what the are running for crank pulleys and cog set-up? I want to switch my 12-rib set-up to a cog system. Currently my blower is on the passenger side and is plumbed to a a2a i/c. I'm wondering what I'm going to run into to switch it over.

We dynoed it last December and it made 1088 hp @ 6500 with about 16 lbs of boost, the belt slips after that. With a larger procharger pulley it made 1003 @ 7500 and yes its got Indy heads omn it. I got to run it a few weekends at the track and the best was 9.29@147 on drag radials with a 1.4X something 60 foot, I need to tune the chassis this year.

Thanks Crizila, thats what I was wanting. Do you think a motor plate will work with that mount?

Sure. That blower mount utilizes the left 2 water pump bolts ( the long ones ) and 3 head bolts. To keep belt alignment correct with the crank pulley, you would probably have to mill the thickness off the motor plate off the 2 water pump bolt mounts ( 8 blade water pump comes with the kit already modified ). You might also have to knotch the motorplate around the lower head bolt mount as it is slightly below the top of the water pump. Other than that, the mount is plenty high enough to be out of the way.

No problem Dom. Had to do a little relocation of the wiring ( tucked under the fenders ) and make a seperate mount for the porportioning valve, fuel reg, etc, but I was able to drop another 15 or so pounds off the front of the car and let a little more heat out. Car has a pretty massive core support to hang the fenders / nose on, and aerodynamics aren't an issue when the rest of the car is as aerodynamic as a box of Velveta cheese.

Gotcha...........I asked about this for my dart but was told it wasn`t worth it plus don`t the inners add needed strength?

No doubt they add some strength, but the late "B" has some sturdy fender supports that run from the firewall to the core support and like I said, a big core support and large front frame rails. It ain't no whimpy "A" body . At any rate, I haven't noticed any ill effects ( fender / hood alignment shift, bouncy bouncy, etc.) so far. Also dropped a good 100 lbs off the front end by gutting the under-hood bracing ( as much as I dare ), aluminum rad, removed the bumper liner and bunper shocks and replaced with light weight mounts.

So, the "land barge" can get away w/that but not the "baby" dart I guess..............
