Where do you guys recommend finding a good quality hood bezel for a '72 Road Runner?

I found this one on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Plymouth-he...ies&vxp=mtr

I can't remember what the original material was, but IIRC it wasn't plastic like mentioned in this ad.

Thanks in advance

the original ones were made of chromed plastic.
keep your eye out for a nice original
and be prepared to pay when you do find it.
they are not easy to find in good shape.

I have had and still have a bunch of them nice used and Nos. If you find one you can send it out and get it replated and buy a sticker. Most important is that the stud is not broke off or cracked. There was a guy a few years back that had 6-8 replated by a shop in Canada and I think they were only $10-12ea to rechrome. The Nos 72 Satellite one I had sold for $300+ RR ones I had went for $250. It's also NOT a hood emblem but a Header emblem....

I did a search.. found this old Post, so I have had this one ever since an old Chrysler worker gave it to me decades ago.. must have got it from the car assembly plant, no sentimental value to me.. tab was broken off the back, he stuck a piece of foam on the back (probably from the plant as well..) and said I can use it as a paper clip dish for my desk.. it's just been a knick knack collecting dust, if anyone who has a 72 RR and needs one, let me know..

Ignore the above reply.. it's been shipped as of this afternoon, a member PMed me, his son needed one for his Road Runner project. I got it for free, so I gave it away for the same deal, plus postage.

I wasn't looking for money, just somebody that could use it, small gesture contributing something in exchange for being part of our Moparts community.
