I just bought a 71 340 Demon and was curious on a few codes. Can someone tell me the code for a fresh air/ram air hood, dual scoops? It's supposed to be a factory hood scoop car but I can't find the right code for that. Also, it's coded V68 and V8X, what does that mean? I know V68 means stripe delete and V8X is longitudinal black stripes, but how can it be coded for stripes and then coded for stripe delete?

Thanks guys!

Scoops I believe are M47 as it isn't a functional air package which would make it an "N" code...

on the Stripes it may be a side stripe delete coded for a tail panel stripe..

that's what i was thinking on the stripes, it says longitudinal stripe delete, but transverse stripe in black?

J54 is the non-functional "Sport Hood" w/scoops
V68 is "delete" side sport stripes
V8X is black tail panel stripes

That's what it is, J54.

He messed up reading the tag and gave me C54.

I just wanted to make sure there was a scoop hood code.

Thanks guys, so it's Go-Green with scoops and tail panel stripes, side stripe delete. Sounds cool

I knew the J54 code was used on Challengers but the A body having a bolt on scoop I thought might be different & remembered the M47 code was used on 69 cudas...Never really learned the "A" body stuff to well...Like em, just don't know em....
