Finishing up the 340 and got the cam degreed in @ 106 and heres the P-V clearances .085 exhaust & .092 intake with 0 lash, cam calls for .014-.016 lash. To do any more we are going to have to buy some cam keys or a timing chain with more adjustment. What do you guys think?

Engine details
340
eddy heads
Lunati 60442 solid cam

Solid or hydraulic? Roller or flat tappet? RPM range? Spring pressures?

I've run less with a solid flat tappet with 440 PSI over the nose with no issues. You could move the cam around a little to gain some more exhaust clearance, you can run less on the intake but that doesn't look bad to me.

Your good As long as you have decent spring pressures My definition of decent spring pressures are 120Lb + on the seats and 300 lbs + opened, I shoot for 150 to 170 lbs on the seats and 350 to 375 lbs opened on a solid flat tappet cam that the motor will be shifted before 7500 RPM with stock type valves When does Redding race next, several of us central Oregon boys are thinking of coming down there to run once there next year

Our break in springs are 100 and 300. But the springs that we will run after break in are 130 and 330. We are going to keep rpm under 7,000.
