The Agent got a call from a JEGS representative yesterday saying they have closed their in-house engine shop (J&R Racing) that was developing and building engines for their Pro Stock program.
The team struggled this year to find enough power to compete with the elite NHRA Pro Stock teams. The spokesman told the Agent regarding the team’s engine program for the 2013 season that they were “exploring their options” and Jeg Coughlin would definitely be coming back to race for the NHRA Pro Stock Championship in 2013.

Are they staying with Dodge and leasing engines or going to another Brand and leasing engines????
