Spent 3 days cleaning the garage. While I did that I weighed the parts I was putting away for safe keeping. Weights are for pairs.
hood hinges 12.0 lbs
hood latch,grille braces 3.6
wiper motor/linkage/arms 8.6
inner door frame cut outs 14.4
front window regulators 12.4
rear window regulators 12.4
rear glass 21.6
door glass 20.8
quarter glass 10.4
vent glass 2.4
windshield 30.8
sun visors 2.2
cluster 4.2
Steering shaft 7.4 (moly tube 3.4)
bumper brackets 24.4
front bumper 24
rear bumper 26
I'm using the front windshield and chrome bumpers so no weight loss there.Bumper brackets will be Carbon Fiber. The windows look great even though they're 1/8" I will brace the bottom of the door windows with 1/4" aluminum angle to stiffen them up. I built a 468 BB and turbo 400 for my buddy. Congrats to Tim,he was able to fire up his 67 Camaro after 23 years working on the project (I know its the dark side. He also is building a 68 coronet with a Hemi).
