i went to tnt today,1st pass spun let off at 1/8,1.566 6.682 106.18.second pass 1.569 6.627 106.42 10.333 131.27,30mph cross wind.on the third pass i noticed when i shifted at 6,000 the rpms didn't drop,the converter is my old one,4200.so i guess this stroker is more than it wants?oh well at least all the rods were still inside the motor when i loaded it.

low deck 512 13.1 comp.otb sr's with valve job,.650 solid from hughes,performer rpm int.,1050 qf alcohol carb.727,4200 conv.4.30 8.75,31.5x10.5x15 mt's,3,000lbs race wt.when i get a converter that is right for it should pickup some.my 60 ft's were horrible,no track prep was part of that.i only made the one full pass,that 30 mph crosswind made me a little leary.

When you get that thing figured out....Hang On!!
