DaKuda OP super stock Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 1,015 Down South	Who sells a good quality W2 header flange? Can a 2" tube be fitted to it when building headers? Also, if I later switch to Indy 360-1's will the headers work with both?

olemopar member O Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 115 louisiana,usa	Go to spdexhaust.com good products very knowledge, you will have to use W5 flanges to swap between the heads,also the flange will be on the upper side,omn the w2's and you will have to grind the part of the flange to get the sparkplugs in and out any question or if i can help let me know,have w5 headers on w2 race heads in 72 demon Thad Shiers 7455014-2010_11_05__004896[1].jpg (93 downloads)

They also sell the peices to build your own if you have a strange chassis. The indy heads have both w2 bolt patterns on them so as long as you use a w2 bolt pattern they will fit. DaKuda OP super stock Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 1,015 Down South	Thanks guys. I noticed that TTI sells the flanges but they show 1 set for the econo head and 1 set for the race head. Is there a difference and does it matter.

Is there a difference and does it matter. yes the center 2 bolt hols are in different locations, some heads are drill for both patterns, so it might not be a factor.

I just dont want to pay to have custom headers built for what we are doing then change to Indy heads and have a problem. What you guys are saying is as long as if I change heads the Indys will work accepting both patterns?
