Who sells a good quality W2 header flange? Can a 2" tube be fitted to it when building headers? Also, if I later switch to Indy 360-1's will the headers work with both?

Go to spdexhaust.com good products very knowledge, you will have to use W5 flanges to swap between the heads, also the flange will be on the upper side, omn the w2's and you will have to grind the part of the flange to get the sparkplugs in and out any question or if i can help let me know, have w5 headers on w2 race heads in 72 demon

Hedman make a set of two inch if thats what your after. They also sell the peices to build your own if you have a strange chassis. The indy heads have both w2 bolt patterns on them so as long as you use a w2 bolt pattern they will fit. The hedman use a adpator plate to get the room for the center exhaust ports.

Thanks guys. I noticed that TTI sells the flanges but they show 1 set for the econo head and 1 set for the race head. Is there a difference and does it matter.

yes the center 2 bolt hols are in different locations, some heads are drill for both patterns, so it might not be a factor.

I wpould use the race pattern, as that is a wider pattern on the center holes. But you need to see what your w2 heads are. Econo or race pattern, as the indy's come with both.

They are econo heads. I just dont want to pay to have custom headers built for what we are doing then change to Indy heads and have a problem. What you guys are saying is as long as if I change heads the Indys will work accepting both patterns?

Yes I switched from batten w2s to the indy 360-1 245s with no problems. I had a set of tti 1 7/8 headers and hedman 1 7/8 headers on the car.
