has any one used a deep trans pan from diesel truck on a car? any problems bottoming out?

I don't think it is 5 inches, although at least 4 inches. I can take an exact measurement later tonight. This is installed on my 68 Road Runner and after 1500 miles it has not hit anything. I also use a deep Milodon oil pan and they are roughly the same as far as clearance.

I checked with a ruler tonight and it is just under 4" deep. It is the lowest point under the car and currently it has 5.25" ground clearance. The oil pan has 5.5". I'm also running slightly stiffer torsion bars - .96" vice the stock size .92". So far it works for me...your results may vary...
