Well I attempted to pull the center section out tonight and swap gears between the cars. Something is wrong! Not even with a slide hammer could I get an axle out. It's an 8.75 with Dr. Diff axles, car has been making some very strong passes lately so who. Knows? Am I right?

Sounds like you have some other problem. Twisted splines should not stop an axle from being removed, as they will be twisted outside of the spool or unit and will be straight inside

Is the housing bent? I would check toe-in on rear end.

Doesn't appear to be, I bent the last housing, when I get back to the shop I'll look it over better. Should probably brace it but my car is one of those that looks like it should be about 2sec slower lol less is more.

Easy way to tell on the bent housing after you get the axles out is to use two straight edges against the axle bearing flanges and have someone hold a measuring tape on the end about 15 inches from the center of the housing to the front and then to the rear and then up and down, if the difference is more then a 1/8 inch bewteen the front and back and up and down you have a bent bousing I bent the heck out of my 8 3/4 housing with no back brace and ladder bars running low tens at 3450 lbs with 1.43 60 ft. times It has a cut down and narrowed truck Dana 60 in it now My axles had to be pried out of the 8 3/4 housing on the passenger side, they also had to be beat in with a wood 2x4 with a BFH It would lift the right rear tire off the ground first when jacking the rear up under the center section, the car was talking to me but stupid me, I wouldn't listen

Put your brake drum/rotor on backwards and turn the
nuts on just a couple of turns then give the drum a
couple of good pulls... that always gets them out...
sure isnt a twisted spline(the splines might be twisted
but NOT in the engaged section)

I use a press and V blocks to get it straight, with
2 straight edges... lay the straight edges on each
flange and measure between the 2, top and bottom and
fore and aft(measure out at least 12" from the flange...
if need be cut the flanges off and reweld
EDIT
Put a back brace on it... the traction tends to bend
the tubes forward

All answers must be in the form of a question.

I have to go with the crowd here.
And I think a brace is just a good idea once you dip into the 11's or so.
