when tuning hi speed bleeds how many sizes do you go at a time without hurting anything. i have a bigs stage 5+ 950 with 35 hi speeds and would like to try bigger bleeds at the track next week.

I would try one size at a time. It is similar to jet sizes.
Smaller bleeds richer the mixture. Bleed changes will affect how soon the main circuit starts coming in to play also.

My dommy came w/37`s hsb`s and no way could I get it rich enuff. Ended up at 28`s and will go to 26`s next week when I take it to auto shop and see how it looks on the wide band. I went .002-.004 smaller till it looked good and the plugs confirmed that.

I went through the same thing , I added a 750 proform center body
to my Demon carb .It came with 36 High bleeds .
Went to the track and was bs,ing with other guys and they were telling
me that 36s might be to big ,so they gave me some 10/32 brass set screws
drilled out to 32s,so I tried them and instantly picked up a 10/th,
next pass tried some 30s and picked up some more, almost another
10/th,so then I tried some 28s added a little more timing, and picked up
another 10/th and started spinning on the launch, which it never did .
So try both ways ,a bag of 100 set screw from Mcmaster carr cost me
10 bucks shipped, set of wire drill bits are 40 bucks ,then you can make your own bleeds .

A nice guy at the track showed me that ...I was drilling bleeds for
for two nights after that, lol. I even jetted down 2 to on my last pass

of the year and spun so bad lost almost a full second ...So now I have
to figure that out .
