Hey guys,

I'm hoping to hit some junkyards in the near future to search for some parts for my 71' Road Runner clone. I'm primarily looking for interior parts since the previous owners were extreme butchers...

I need an A/C dash frame and A/C box, can these came from any 71-74 B body or must it be a 71-72?

I also need a couple of seat belts, are bench and bucket seat belts the same?

I'm also missing my front buckets, what year cars could I source the correct bucket seat cores and tracks from?

And last but not least, is it possible to use an Iso-Clamp 8 3/4" rear from a 73-74 B body in a 71-72 car with conventional U-bolts and shock plates?

Dash frame 71-4 rally dash. not sure if it's the same for non rally. rally dash has a different heater control in 3-4. Some 4s have a set of lights next to the gauges. seat cores are 71 early 72 b-body

Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural

There are 4 dash frames. 71/2 and 73/4 both in a/c or non-a/c. A/C frames have the drivers side a/c vent. 71/2 have different glove box door stop than 73/4. 73/4 frame will work in your 71 but need the 73/4 glove box door.
71 A/C box had some minor differences from 72-4 but any 71/4B willl work. Also 70/4E will work

Fronts are different between bench and bucket. 71 is different than 72/3. I use 72/3 in some of my 71s. 71 have seperate belt and shoulder latches and 72/3 they are together. 74 rears are different than 71/3

I'm also missing my front buckets, what year cars could I source the correct bucket seat cores and tracks from?
71/4B seat frame, backs and tracks will work. Need 71/2 Plymouth foam.

Yes. Just remove the Iso-clamp. The 73/4 has a larger centering pin then 71/2 so you'll need to do something there. Probably put the 73/4 pins in the 71 springs.

I'll go alittle further early 71 has different backs. Early ones have metal seat hinge covers and a plastic back. Where later 71's have a plastic back only where the metal hinge covers were they are all plastic up to 74. Since it is a clone I would stick with the later 71 seats cause the Metal hinge covers and those seat backs are harder to find and more pricey...
