It's time to drain and flush. What are the recommendations for replacing the coolant other than the MOPAR 50/50 mix? It really irks me to pay same price per gallon for 50/50 MOPAR mix, as compared to 100% concentrate.

Just use any of the new stuff. We used the Global at work almost exclusively. It mixes with any coolant. We used to have the reg green, dexcool and the global. Then we just switched to the Global stuff.Only time we used say Dex or factory was if the customer actually wanted it.Never any problems with hundreds of vehicles. My kids 04 Hemi runs it as do all our vehicles.Rocky

Greeting to Creedmore

I ran the Evans NPG waterless coolant in a 1995 Ram for over 100,000 miles mostly in and around Durham but found no real advantage in fuel economy, pinging or power.

It is true that NPG wont boil over at 300 degrees plus, as i found out on a trip when a thermostat failed in the closed position

Evans NPG is even more expensive as i paid $20 per gallon and needed six gallons.
