i stacked a 1" 4 hole tapered spacer on top of a 1" open and added a air bell on top of carb. this is all on my indy intake. i only have 3/4" clearance between the air bell and the top of scoop on my six pack hood. do you think i will get enough air flow with 3/4" of clearance to feed my 408?

Nope. I think you're going to need to remove at least one of those 1" spacers and see how that works.

I put a dominator with adaptor on my car, that was very close to the hood. It took 5mph off the car. It 60ft'd good but layed down after that. Jetted up a couple got 1 mph back, swapped the 950 back on, got the other 4 mph back. All on the same day.
