A friend of mine gave me a new Comp + shifter. It is the bolt on version. The stock shifter in my Shorty works good but is a tad sloppy. How hard would it be to put the shifter pop in part into the new Comp + mechanism??

I am truckless..

So you prefer the sloppy push-in version to the bolt-on handle
You can swap them but I don't see why you would want the loose push in deal.
