low-deck 451. I shift it at 6300, its been north of 6500 plenty of times. Scat H-beam rods, forged RB crank, studded mainline.

The 500" stroked 400, usually shift 6200-6300 RPM. Have had it 7000-7100 on the chassis dyno, but power peaked around 6100?

Well you asked for it. The 499" Hemi we shift at 9500 cross the stripe at about 9900-10200 depending on gear and DA.

The 525" B1 when on the odd occasion I run it all out I shift at 8300. It does not have enough gear or converter for running all out and I cross the stripe at a pedestrian 7450.

My 440 with steel crank, factory rods, ARP bolts.Balanced bluprinted etc.I shift now at 6700.Used to set the limiter at 7200 but with the 3.91s it dosent have enough gear at the trap.It still pulls strong at 7200 though.Rocky

6400... 6900 rev limiter. Might try 6600 when I add the 2" headers and NOS.
