Even as hot as it gets under the hood of my 69 Charger (no air scoop or cool air induction). I haven't had any issues with warpage of the air cleaner and I got it from Steve (PaintItBlack). I went as far as to modify the baseplate because it wasn't designed for for a CH-28 and dual Edelbrocks. I too have the K&N filter on mine. It doesn't fit smack dab on but thats the K&N imperfection I believe. Before and after
