Just the 'filler' piece under the front leading edge that matches the contour of the grill.

same hood except for the filler piece screw holes not drilled ... though you may find a LATE 68 hood that is in prep for the 69 model year ??? ... the underhood bracing SHOULD be the same

Under hood bracing is different...how do I know? I bought a hood pad for a 68 and it did not match the 69 hood on my 68 Coronet R/T

Was it just hole placement for the clips or is it completely different ? The biggest concern for the junk collector is putting the ductwork in place .

as long as its visually the same from the top, the 68 will work on a 69, after i cut holes for the two scoops... then right?

just different pad and spacer piece then correct,

Are you just putting the scoops on the top and not the underhood assembly?

If yes, then that's not really N96. It's a hood with decorative unfunctional scoops.

yes i know what a N96 is, my 69 coronet RT has it and my 70 SB 440/6 has them, just want to know if 68 hood will LOOK the part, but good question,, will a 68 hood ACCEPT the 69 N96 goodies under the hood?? or are the bracing in the wrong spots to accept the ram air set up..

i'd think the scoops on top would or could be drilled anywhere. and YES be decorative unfunctional scoops.. and not truly a N96 set up.

69 duct work doesn't fit a 68 hood on a bee or a chicken

Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural
