I am trying to find the CORRECT radio, according to build sheet, the right radio for my 73 Cuda. Built in and delivered late 72. The build sheet says 11 under radio and the decoder says "Master Music AM radio.
NOT Music Master...not sure why the difference, but I'm putting the car together NOW and just found out the radio I bought might NOT be correct. There are so many and all I want is the correct one. Not caring for "updated" model...only true to build sheet. The range of radios that "FIT" is long, but the styles are all different. Including the face. From "Chrysler Solid State" to nothing on the face. Not a thumb wheel to be sure. My Cuda is a 340 and build sheet has been followed...right up to this point. Thanks for any help

Hello do you happen to have a picture of yours. Both our cars sound late 72 builds. I can look through my parts and see what I might be able to find.

1966 Charger 383 4 speed (Black with Red interior)
1973 Cuda 340 4 speed (Lemontwist)
1972 Corvette

Original radio in late 72 built 73 Challenger. If you need a closeup pic I can take one for you.

You will have no problem finding one. It's a VERY common radio.
You are looking for a 2884759 with the Black pushbuttons (the 70-71 carries the same number but has chrome push buttons)

I may be able to hook you up with an NOS one ,
Or if you want to snag one on e-bay and send it in let me know ,
I think the only ones I have in my inventory at the moment are the 70-71 .

You can visit my E body radio ID page to learn all about the diffrent E body radios ..

Here is a pic of what you are looking for ...

Thank you everyone and to that end I've gotten the correct radio for my build.
