Looking to replace the original rear leaf springs in my 37 Dodge 2dr sedan street rod. I have checked with Eaton and they can do it for around $700 shipped (ouch). Also I have heard both good and bad about Eaton. Can anyone reccomend any other sources for quality springs?

I see JC Whitney is advertising John R Leaf brand in their catalog. Price is under $300 for the pair. Anybody ever use their springs?

I ordered a pair of em for my A body and (1) finally arrived after repeated ph calls and it was for an F body (had the elongated eye on one end). Talked to different people & even they couldn't figure out their cataloguing system. Then I get a ph call from them offering to sell me a pair for more money than their regular price . (maybe it's straightened out by now it was 6+ yrs ago but that's my experience with JC Whitless and their JR springs). The wrong leaf that showed up did look like a stout piece though
