Thanks Russ. Car weighs 2510 with me driving. Yes they were surprised how fast the car went. 1st opponent had to ask if they were sure of the dial. Car really starts moving in high gear. Too bad the car will have a new owner next year.

Gears are 4:56, trans is a powerglide and the convertor is a PTC.

Deal depends on a friend selling their junior. K Car will be sold minus motor. At that time I will see what is available. I also have an offer to drive a friends car whenever I feel the need to race.

I`m personally not surprised at all at that weight and doing some math would probably put my 3200lb. mess in that range or faster. Power to weight baby........ Not being negative just stating obvious facts.............peace!
