I'm trying to order bearings for the 572 Hemi I'm building.
The block is a new Mopar Performance/World Products cast iron block part # P5153861.
The crank is a 4.5 stroke Keith Black billet crank turned .010 under.
I'm trying to figure out what are the best bearing to use for my application which will mostly be street use (with the occaisional runs at the track).
From talking to different people the brand choice recommended is Clevite 77 tri-metal.
But from there Clevite makes different ones.
The crank has radiused journals and one place recommends the narrower but harder race bearings (MS2233HG10).
But since it's really a street engine would the MS896P be a better choice?
Suggestions...Opinions??
Thanks, Rich
